The information conveyed on this page is live, unaltered data from our network monitoring system (NMS), updated every 5 minutes.
It is important to understand that this data has not been adjusted to compensate for events such as:
- customer equipment going off line due to customer action beyond our control (equipment move, power cut etc)
- situations where our NMS has lost visibility to the network, but the network is operating perfectly (this has a big impact on stats but no impact on network operation)
- planned network outages which have been carried out with full consent of affected customers.
So in effect, the stats presented are the worst possible interpretation of our network availability, a less conservative approach would reveal better stats but that would require us to manually adjust the data for specific events.
