In 2009, Velocity Networks Ltd acquired specialist IT project management consultancy firm, Solution Evolution Ltd.

Following the acquisition, Velocity now offers independent project management, IT consulting and customised IT solutions for specialised projects in the Information and Communications Technology sphere, ranging from network and IT hardware through to software implementation.

In the same way that our networks are open access and don't favour any one service provider over another, we offer IT consulting and project management services that are independent of any equipment or IT solutions supplier. Velocity doesn't sell hardware or services other than its own network connections, so we have no hidden agenda. This enables us to operate objectively, much the same way as your own internal staff would.

Velocity's IT solutions and project management team has extensive experience in large and small ICT projects, and operate through all stages of the project lifecycle. We can assist with the execution of projects, provide peer reviews, quality assurance services or supply additional senior IT resources.

Velocity adheres to the Project Management Institute's PMBOK philosophy but we are equally comfortable using other project management methodologies. We can also use a tailored approach if you have an existing one in your organisation.
