High Speed Internet Service Providers
Velocity provides a backbone broadband fibre network that other independent high speed internet service providers can offer their own specific services and products on.
With a fibre network that spans the city of Hamilton, Velocity is an attractive alternative for independent high speed internet service providers to partner with.
Velocity does not compete directly at the retail level with internet service providers, but rather works side by side assisting them to connect their own customers to the network.
Operating as an 'open access' community network, end users are free to subscribe to services from a range of application and internet service providers that operate on the network. We believe that this is a critically important aspect of our business model.
Becoming a service provider on the Velocity network is easy and is not restricted only to internet service providers. We welcome any business or organisation is that is delivering a service attractive to business users and which can be delivered over Ethernet. We'll even get you started with a zero cost 10Mbps port onto our network.
